Clara Morgan

November 20, 1945 — August 16, 2025

REFLECTION:

On November 20, 1945, Clara Morgan, was born this day to James and Eva Morgan.

August 16, 2025 the LORD called her back home. Clara was the fourth child born to

this union. All of Clara's life she had been the go to person for every child that graced

216 E. Johnson Street. Her last child rearing duties were done outside of the home.

Clara lived her life quietly with dignity and appreciative of those who thought and

cared about and for her.

During Clara's educational years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she attended Gillespie

Junior High school and Simon Gratz High school. Upon graduating, she entertained

several careers - nursing for one, Philco-Ford, producing consumer electronics - for

another, and lastly, assembly line duty: sorting, planning, correcting paperwork for an advertisement company.

Clara is survived by two (2) sisters, Edith Morgan Godley (Jesse), Mary Hamilton and

one (1) brother, Byron Johnson (Veronica). She will dearly be missed by a host of

nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews,

several cousins, extended family and friends.

Rest in peace dear sister, auntie, cousin, and friend. The sporting world has lost its

number one (1) cheerleader/fan. THE STAT MASTER! We'll love and miss you forever!

Arrangements entrusted to Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, P.C.
