Clara E. Urban

Clara E. Urban, 93, of Lansdale, PA, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 peacefully, at North Penn. She was formerly of Jeffersonville, PA.  Clara was born in Mahanoy City, PA on September 10, 1921, a daughter of the late Theresa (Bukota) and Simon Shadis. She had worked as a salesperson at John Wanamaker in King of Prussia, PA., for 15 years.  Clara enjoyed gardening, cooking, dogs, dancing and sewing, but her true love, her entire life, was her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Urban, Loving mother of Michael (his wife Carolynn) and Kristina Venezia. Devoted Grandmother of Benjamin Licwinko, Michele Licwinko, Sarah Urban and Megan Bramble. She is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, great grandchild.  Clara is pre-deceased by 3 sisters and 1 brother. Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing Thursday August 27, 2015 from 10-10:50 AM and her funeral mass at 11 AM at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N Trooper Rd.
