Claramarie A. D'Vertola

Claramarie A. (Alvares) D’Vertola passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA. She was 82, and just 2 days from her 83 birthday. Claramarie was a resident of Bluffton, SC where she lived with her husband (and high school sweetheart), Gino. Both were former residents of King of Prussia, PA. Claramarie was of the Roman Catholic faith. She attended Villa Maria Academy and Graduated from West Catholic High School as part of the class of 1959. Claramarie worked as a secretary for many years at Allan Myers (Great Valley Materials) in Great Valley, PA before retiring to take care of her grandchildren. Her family was her world, she loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. Claramarie enjoyed baking and cooking for her loved ones, food was her love language. She was happiest hosting friends and participating in family gatherings and holiday celebrations. Claramarie cherished her friendships and was grateful for all their love and unwavering support. She had a warm and caring personality that people would gravitate to; if you met Claramarie, you loved her.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA on December 23, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Ciavarelli) Alvares.

Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 64 years, Gino M. D’Vertola; a daughter, Ginamarie Hoy (Herbert); a son, Gino A. D’Vertola (Catherine); a son-in-law (Brian); 8 grandchildren: Danielle, Daniel, Lauren, Emily, Brianna, Matthew, Alexander, and Andrew; 2 great-grandchildren, Mason James and Avery Mae; a sister, Angela Biggers (Brian) and many other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Denyse L. Groth; 2 grandsons, Jonathan and Anthony Hoy; and 2 brothers, Louis and Alfred Alvares

Funeral services will be private at the request of the family.
