Born May 9, 1945 Passed  April 15, 2026

“Dino” Zoumboulides, a long time resident of West Norriton, Pennsylvania, passed quietly in his home surrounded by friends. He was born in Athens, Greece in 1945 to Demetrios and Evelynbia (Demetris) Zoumboulides. Dino emigrated to the United States in 1961 and spent many years uniting with cousins and family members.

He was a student in the Upper Merion Area School system graduating in 1967. He loved the sport of soccer and excelled as a player on the varsity soccer team. During his high school years he worked at the Demetris Uptown Market in Bridgeport, PA.

Dino returned to Greece to fulfill his military obligation to the Hellenic Army from 1968-1970 and served as a admin at the army headquarters in Athens.

He returned to the U.S. in 1970 and was employed for many years by the Genuardi’s and Giant Supermarkets. Later in life he was employed as a school van driver and aide.

He was proud to obtain his U.S citizenship in 1995.

Dino’s recreational passions included adult soccer, hunting and a love for bicycling. He participated in many long distance rides for area and national charities including 24 years with the MS Ride for Life to Atlantic City with Team “Tonya.” He clocked many miles on and had a particular love for the Schuylkill Valley and interconnected bike trail system visible from the balcony of his condominium in West Norriton. Dino enjoyed meeting regularly for breakfast or lunch with his Upper Merion High School classmates.

Memories are eternal. You may honor Dino by sharing your special stories with family and friends or by making a contribution in his honor to St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church, 900 S, Trooper Road, Jeffersonville, PA 19403 or to a charity of your choice.
