Curtis M. 'Mike' Simmons

Curtis M. ""Mike"" Simmons, Jr. of Douglassville, formerly of Norristown, died peacefully at home on Monday, March 31, 2014. He was 69 years of age. He served in the US Army. Mike was retired from Graphic Packaging and enjoyed playing cards, the PA lottery and loved being with his family. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Curtis M. Simmons, Sr. and former wife, Doris. He is survived by his loving mother, Leonora J. Simmons, son, Curtis M. ""Mickey"" Simmons, III and his wife, Cyndi; two grandchildren, Curtis IV and Myndi; stepchildren: Joey, Tammi and Johnny, who he treated as his own; a brother, Freddie (Pat) Simmons, of Norristown; sisters, Mary Jane (Robert) Thompson of Ohio and Florence ""Flo"" (Rick) Hendrickson of Sanatoga; and many nephews and nieces. The family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 6 to 8:00 pm.
