Cynthia S. Cantwell

December 10, 1957 — October 23, 2018

Cynthia S. “Cindi” (Spatz) Cantwell, a resident of Collegeville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Neighborhood VNA Inpatient Hospice in West Chester, PA. She was 60. Cindi was raised as an Air Force child and lived in many States and Japan. She was a 1976 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School in New Cumberland, PA, and attended Penn State Main and Penn State Berks. Cindi then graduated in 1980 from Montgomery Co. Community College as a Registered Dental Hygienist, and also took various C.E. dental courses. She worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist for Dr. Richard Koup in Paoli, PA. Cindi was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was an active volunteer in the community as a member of the Upper Providence Little League Board, along with coaching softball. She was also on the Upper Providence Park and Recreation Board. Cindi loved art, photography and traveling with her husband and family. Born in Pasadena, TX on December 10, 1957, she was a daughter of Beverly (Beckley) Spatz of Florida and the late Neal Joseph Spatz. Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband of over 40 years, Kenneth M. Cantwell; two daughters, Terri Lynn Cantwell and her fiancé, Jonathan Cox, of Phoenixville, PA and Rebecca Marie Quintangeli and her husband, Anthony, of Lansdale, PA; a son, Kevin Neal Cantwell and his fiancée, Terra Loveace Garcia, of Collegeville, PA; three grandchildren: Kierin Andrew Cox, Ryleigh Quinn Cox and Levi Quintangeli; two sisters, Sheri L. Ash and her husband, Wesley, of Mechanicsburg, PA and Laurie D. Roca of Florida; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert B. Spatz. The family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Friday evening, November 2, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm, and Saturday morning from 9 to 10:50 am, with a service following at 11:00 am. The family would like to honor Cindi’s artistic side by asking everyone to wear something tie dyed in her memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cindi’s memory to Neighborhood VNA Hospice, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380. Condolences to the family at www.bacchifh.com
