Daniel T. Bird

Daniel “Dan” Thomas Bird passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Reading Hospital in W. Reading, PA. He was 62 years old. Daniel was a resident of Phoenixville, PA. He worked for a medical supplies company before his retirement. Dan loved cooking, the color purple, and was an avid astronomer. He even built his own telescope. Dan always had a dream of getting a van after retirement and traveling the U.S.

Born in Stoneham, Massachusetts on February 17, 1964, he was a son of Janice Claire (Seelig) Bird and the late George Lewis Bird, Jr.

Dan is survived by his daughter, Monica J. Bird and her husband Jonathan; his mother, Janice; two siblings, as well as extended family members.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 12pm to 1pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405. His memorial service will begin at 1pm. Interment will be private for the family.
