Daniel A. Delucca

Daniel A. DeLucca passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 87. Mr. DeLucca was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a Claims Examiner for the Pennsylvania Office of Employment Security. Daniel was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia and he volunteered at the Upper Merion Senior Service Center.Mr. DeLucca was a US Navy veteran of WW II, serving from 1945 to 1946 in the Pacific Theatre of Operations.Born in Wayne, PA on April 23, 1927, he was a son of the late Anthony and Jenny (Coppola) DeLucca. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 64 years, Loretta (Lightcap) DeLucca; four sons: Richard A. DeLucca and his wife, Marlene, of Coatesville, PA, Daniel D. DeLucca and his wife, Janet, of Collegeville, PA, David A. DeLucca and his wife, Carol, of Lansdale, PA and Gary J. DeLucca and his wife, Joann, of Collegeville, PA; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon A. DeLucca, and a sister, Connie J. Filipone. Daniel's Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 9 to 9:50am, at the church.
