Daniel L Hickey

Daniel L Hickey age 80 of Eagleville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 11, 2016.  Born in Bryn Mawr to the late Daniel L. and Ann (Webb) Hickey.  Dan served for 6 years in the US National Guard.  He worked as a professional design engineer for E,I, DuPont and Merck Sharpe and Dome for most of his career.  He was a member of the Model Railroad Club and spent his summers in Sea Isle City, NJ. Dan is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathleen M.; 3 children, Robert T. (Careen) of Pottsgrove, Thomas M. (Linda) of Phoenixville and Terri Makins (Scott) of Pottsgrove; 5 grandchildren, Jay and Danny Hickey and Jenna, Jaimi and Luke Makins. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 to 10:50 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass 11 a.m. Friday, January 15th at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Norristown, Pa.  Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Montgomery County hospice. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 to 10:50 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass 11 a.m. Friday, January 15th at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N.
