David Carr passed on March 26th, 2021 at the age of 76 after a short illness. He was always proud to be a Kentuckian. He was in the horse business over 55 years as an owner, trainer and Bloodstock Agent. He trained Stakes winners Blade Away & Spyron and Stakes-placed Striped Action & Iron Jim. He was the owner of Stakes winner Rubber. He sold hundreds of horses as a Bloodstock Agent. He also served in the US Army. He was the son of the late Fay (Weinberg) and Elijah Robert Carr. He is survived by wife Karen Cleaver, brother Raymond Carr (Becky), daughters Christa Carr (Babak), Lisa Hager (Philip) and grandchildren Peyton, Julia, Ryan & Colt.
