David A. Dougherty 71 of Audubon, Pa passed away August 24, 2016. He was born in Norristown, Pa to the late Francis Dougherty Jr. and Eleanor (Kramer) Dougherty. David enlisted into the United States Airforce on Oct. 25, 1962 until Nov. 19, 1965. He was a member of the Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Co. and a longtime chef at the Eagleville Hotel. He liked all kinds of shopping, vacations, camping, cruises, and Nascar racing. David was a big Philadelphia sports fan of Penn State, Villanova, Eagles and Phillies. He enjoyed cooking and also watching the cooking shows along with Blue Blood and American Pickers. David is survived by his longtime companion Helen Marie Woloszyn and their cat (Pooper); children David, Michael, Kelly, Shannon, Meghan and many grand-children. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3rd from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m.at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home 101 N. Park Ave, Eagleville (Rt. 363, Trooper), Pa 19403.
