David Paul Knoebel

David Paul Knoebel passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Pottstown, PA. He was 72. Mr. Knoebel was a long-time resident of Swedeland, PA. He worked as a machinist for Tube Method in Bridgeport. David was a social member of the VFW Post 7878, Good Will Fire Co., Swedeland and Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Companies and the Maenner-Chor Club in Norristown, PA. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. Born in Norristown, PA on January 27, 1947, he was a son of the late Harry M. and Mary R. (Henzel) Knoebel. Surviving is his loving family including a daughter, Dawn Knoebel of Pottstown, PA; a granddaughter, Connor Knoebel; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, David P. Knoebel, II; by three brothers: Bob, Lou and Tom Knoebel; and a sister, Anna Mae Semetti. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral luncheon being held at the Good Will Fire Company, 304 Bush St., Bridgeport, PA on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 1pm to 4pm, to celebrate David's memory.
