David Paul Knoebel

David Paul Knoebel passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Pottstown, PA. He was 72. Mr. Knoebel was a long-time resident of Swedeland, PA. He worked as a machinist for Tube Method in Bridgeport. David was a social member of the VFW Post 7878, Good Will Fire Co., Swedeland and Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Companies and the Maenner-Chor Club in Norristown, PA. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. Born in Norristown, PA on January 27, 1947, he was a son of the late Harry M. and Mary R. (Henzel) Knoebel. Surviving is his loving family including a daughter, Dawn Knoebel of Pottstown, PA; a granddaughter, Connor Knoebel; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, David P. Knoebel, II; by three brothers: Bob, Lou and Tom Knoebel; and a sister, Anna Mae Semetti. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral luncheon being held at the Good Will Fire Company, 304 Bush St., Bridgeport, PA on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 1pm to 4pm, to celebrate David's memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David’s memory to the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Rd., Suite 403, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. www.lung.org.
