David E. Manini, 71, of Bensalem, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 18th, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family at Thomas Jefferson Hospital.
Born on October 7, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, David was the cherished son of the late Annabelle (nee Newvillis) and Adolph Manini. He was the beloved husband of Linda Manini, with whom he shared a lifetime of beautiful memories.
David proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1974, earning the AFGCM and NDSM medals. His patriotism was a cornerstone of his character, and he carried that pride into his civilian life, retiring as a dedicated foreman for an electronics company.
David and Linda’s love story was written in the adventures they shared. From the serene lakeside views at Steamboat Inn in Lancaster, PA, where they marveled at the simplicity of Amish life, to the charming Bavarian streets of Frankenmuth, MI, their travels were filled with joy and wonder. Their annual retreats to the Roman Holiday Motel in North Wildwood were legendary, filled with ocean breezes, boardwalk strolls, and the lively Mummers parades.
A lifelong learner, David’s curiosity knew no bounds. His latest passion was learning to play the piano, a testament to his enduring spirit of discovery. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying kindness and generosity in every aspect of his life.
David’s radiant smile and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his adoring wife Linda; his daughter Jayme (Rafael); his grandsons, Elijah David and Anthony; his brother, Richard; and several nephews and nieces.
David is reunited in peace with his parents, Annabelle and Adolph, his sister, Antoinette, and his brother, Joe.
David’s memory will forever be a beacon of love and light for those who hold him dear.
Family and friends are welcome to David’s viewing on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 10:00 am – 10:45 am followed by his funeral service starting at 11:00 am, both held at the Third Reformed Presbyterian Church (3024 Byberry Road, Philadelphia, PA).
