David R. Moyer

David R. Moyer, 69, of Rockledge, passed peacefully on May 19, 2017 at Abington Memorial Hospital. Born February 3, 1948, he was the son of the late Roy Herbert and Florence (Bauman) Moyer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and a retiree of the Cheltenham Township Police Department where he worked from 1974 to 2008. Dave loved the Boston Red Sox and was an avid deep sea fisherman. Dave is the beloved husband of Patricia Regan-Moyer. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Andrea Moyer and four grandchildren: Cassidy Rae, Destiny, William and David Walther; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Joanne Moyer; many nieces and nephews and his beloved shepherd Maggie. A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 604 West Avenue in Jenkintown on Thursday, June 1 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 until the start of the mass. Interment will be at Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dave’s name to the Rockledge Fire Company 505 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge PA19046 would be appreciated. Services entrusted to Joseph J.
