David C. Nugent

David C. Nugent passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 77. Mr. Nugent was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a tool and die maker. David was known as a tinkerer who could fix just about anything. He loved to travel with his wife, Joan, and they especially enjoyed going to Bermuda every year. Most of all, he was a dedicated family man. David served in the US Army Reserves. Born in Ardmore, PA on November 5, 1937, he was a son of the late John M. and Eleanor (McConnell) Nugent. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Joan A. (Epright) Nugent; a son, David E. & LaDonna Nugent of Royersford, PA; two daughters, Karen A. & Tim King of Royersford, PA and Debbie A. & Ken McNulty of Downingtown, PA; three grandchildren: Cheryl, David and Brendan; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Gordon. David’s Memorial Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Gulph Christian Cemetery, Gulph Mills, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd., Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
