David C Young

David C Young, 68, of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully, after a long battle with cancer, on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at Chandler Hall, in Newtown. David was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 27, 1953, a son of the late Margaret R. (Walzer) and Frank P. Young. He was the beloved husband of Cathy Lee (Jayne) Young for 44 years, they were married on October 8, 1977. David had gone to Tech School for Plumbing after High School. He had worked as a Field Service Representative at Aqua Water Department and Bensalem Water Company prior to it becoming Aqua. He was a social member of VFW in Eddington and a fishing club and was an avid antique collector. Dave adored the outdoors and enjoyed planting in his garden, caring for it as it grew, picking and then cooking his harvest into something wonderful. David is survived by his beloved wife Cathy, his loving daughter Ashley K. Young and his Grandson AJ. He was the devoted brother of Margaret ‘Honey’ Dill, Patti Fabich, Theresa Gallo and the late Francis (survived by Kris), Charles (survived by Jean) and the late Michael. Uncle David is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Public Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 AM and a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, both on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at Hoffmann Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. in Bensalem, PA. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
