David Anthony Zuk

David Anthony Zuk was born on June 21st, 1968, and passed on October 30th, 2025. He was a beloved son, husband and brother, and a devoted friend. He was married to Emory Blanchard, and later widowed. Years later, David was then married to Ralph E. Smith, who passed away in April of 2021 after many years spent joyously together.

David grew up in Hollywood, Florida, and went on to attend Florida State University, and continued to enjoy a very successful career as an esteemed database programmer.

David was an avid classic and contemporary rock music lover and historian. He immersed himself in writing, playing, and recording music when he retired. He was also a prolific painter, creating paintings in the genre of Abstract Expressionism.

David Zuk is survived by his younger brother, Douglas Zuk, his aunt, Nina Gejdos, and his cousin, Anthony "Tony" Zuk.

David was a highly intelligent and creative man with a passionate spirit that burned bright during his fifty seven years of life, lived to the fullest. He will be remembered by many, and deeply missed by those with whom he shared his life.
