Debbie A. Capinski

Deborah A. Capinski joined her heavenly family on December 17, 2013. A viewing will be held on Fri. December 20, 2013 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home 101 N. Park Ave. (Rt. 363 Trooper) Norristown, PA. A service will be held Sat. Dec. 21 at Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene at 3044 W Germantown Pike, Eagleville, PA at 9:30 am with a viewing prior from 8:30-9:30 am. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.  Debbie was warmly welcomed into heaven by her mother and father, Joseph and Elaine Sesto as well as her sister, April Young. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Chris J. Capinski as well as the children she devoted her life to, Michael and Katie Capinski. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Jan Roberts Klein as well as her brother-in-law Chester Capinski. Close to her heart were her nieces and nephews, Kelly Dinenna and husband Patrick, Chip Roberts and wife Joni, Ryan Capinski, Stephen Capinski and Christine Capinski; and a great-niece Emily DiNenna.   Debbie was born on February 22, 1955 in Norristown, PA. She was someone who loved with her whole heart and showed that in every activity she was involved in. She reached her dream of becoming a nurse by graduating from Pottstown Medical School in 1976. Her first job was at Pottstown VNA before moving to work at Montgomery Hospital. In 1983, she jumped at the opportunity to join the first hospice team at Montgomery as her heart was to care for the dying. She prided herself in her work there until 2006. She was known as a top-notch nurse who would go out of her way to help her patients in anyway she could. As she devoted herself to her job, she earned her title as a Certified Hospice Palliative Nurse.   Not only did she devote herself to nursing, but to Girl Scouts, church youth group, Civil War reenacting, but most of all, her children. She didn’t just put time and effort into her own children, but all of the youth that came across her through her various activities. She loved them like they were her own and she will never be forgotten for her acts of love and kindness.   She was a Girl Scout leader from 1990 - 2004, many times having more than one troop and eventually becoming a Service Unit Manager. Her love of working with youth also brought her to be a youth leader at Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene from 1993-2006 where she became a surrogate mom to many. Her love of history pulled her into Civil War reenacting from 2006-2009. During this time she devoted herself to genealogy and was able to become a member of the DAR and the DUV.   Debbie Capinski was a true light in this world. She showed the love of Christ where ever she went and to whoever she met. So many lives were impacted by her and she will be missed by so many. She never neglected to be an involved and caring wife, mother, sister and aunt as family was a number one priority for her. She took advantage of every minute she had on earth. She will be sorely missed but there is no doubt that when she reached heavens doors she heard the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant”.  A viewing will be held on Fri.
