Deborah C. Crosley

Deborah (Debbie) Cathleen (nee McAvinney) Crosley, of Norristown, PA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was 40 years old. Debbie was born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 19, 1982, a daughter of Joseph McAvinney and Diane (nee Litchfield) McAvinney. Debbie earned a BS in Business from Eastern University.

Debbie made friends wherever she went. She could light up a room with her laughter and tell amazing stories. Debbie loved road trips, sunny days at the beach, flip-flops, and singing along to her favorite songs. Debbie saved the lives of countless stray and injured animals. She turned her love for animals into a successful business, founding and running Pro Pet Sitting for over fifteen years.

Of all her accomplishments, Debbie was most proud of her three children, Russell, Shayla, and Elliott. She loved telling others about them and was in awe of what kind and interesting people they had become.

Debbie is survived by her three children, Russell, Shayla, and Elliott Crosley; parents, Joseph and Diane McAvinney; sister, Erin (Ian) Buchanan; brother, Shaun (Juliette) McAvinney; and seven nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Debbie’s life on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 6:00-7:00 pm at Lehigh Baptist Church, 934 Alburger Ave, Philadelphia, PA. Followed by her Memorial Service starting at 7:00 pm.
