Debra Mary Jane Lauro-Rizzo

Debra Mary Jane (Churgai) Lauro-Rizzo passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1,2022 at residence in Collegeville, PA. She was 66. Debra graduated from Gwynedd Mercy Academy in 1973 and then attended Gwynedd Mercy College. She started her 30-year career in the mailroom of Wang, which was bought out by Xerox and retired as a Project Manager from HCL in June of 2021. Debra attended St. Francis of Assisi Church in Norristown, PA. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling and spending time at her summer home. Born in Norristown, PA on June 10, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Alexander J. and Elsie M. (Paul) Churgai. She was the wife of the late Harry Rizzo. Surviving is her loving family including a sister, Jo Anne (Churgai) Rodgers and her husband, Ronald; two nieces, Jaime L. Richardson and David Petett, and Pamela J. Broughton and her husband, Vince. She was preceded in death by a niece, Jennifer L. Richardson. Relatives and friends are invited to Debra’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb Street, Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 10 to 10:50 am with the service starting at 11:00am.
