Delene (Murphy) Waitz

Delene Louise (nee Murphy) Waitz passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2011, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was 72. Delene was a resident of Blue Bell, PA and formerly of Hatboro, PA.Born on June 10, 1939, in Dormont, PA, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Gertrude A. (Mayer) Murphy. She was the wife of the late Charles Howard Waitz. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Daniel B. Waitz and his wife, Mary of Morgantown, WV; a daughter, Megan Spivak of Gladwyne, PA; 3 grandchildren: Kathleen, Alexandra & Genevieve; and 2 brothers, Richard Murphy and his wife, Donna of Ohio & Dan Murphy of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher D. Waitz and a brother, John A. Murphy. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.
