Dennis F. Keenan

Dennis F. Keenan passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Season's Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. He was 64. Dennis was a resident of Collegeville, PA. He was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Dennis enjoyed playing golf and being the coach for Lower Merion High School. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 31, 1956, he was a son of the late Joseph B. and Helen (Sondinger) Keenan O’Hara, and his step-father, Edward O’Hara. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 17 years, Clare M. (Forth) Keenan of Collegeville, PA; children: Lauren M. (Howie) Rich of Boston, Mass, Eric Keenan of Bridgeport, PA, Lisa D. (Seth) Homan of Collegeville, PA; step-son, David (Janette) Shaw of Phoenixville, PA; step-daughter, Jacalyn (Jon) Bleuit of Gilbertsville, PA; three grandchildren: Delaney, David & Shay; three brothers: Joseph, Michael (Geri) & Edward (Carol) Keenan; step-brother, Edward O’Hara; step-sister, Ethel (Robert) Bauersmith; and step-brother-in-law, Tom Cunningham. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Savannah Shaw; and a step-sister, Josie Cunningham. Relatives & friends are invited to Dennis’ viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 8 to 9:30 am; followed by his Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA at 10:30 am. Masks and social distancing will be required. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
