Dennis Robert Murray

Dennis Robert Murray passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at his residence in Norristown, PA. He was 56. Mr. Murray was a graduate of Mercy Tech Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Norristown. Dennis worked as a roofer for many years, he enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 31, 1962, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary Lou (Murray) Murray, and the husband of the late Laurie Ann (Williams) Murray. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Michael (Ashley) Murray; 3 daughters: Rebecca (Patrick) Courtney, Rachel (Dan) Weigner and Megan (Sebastian) Murray; 10 grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, Shawn, Devin, McKayla, Dominick, Lily, Aliyah, Joan and Daniel; 2 brothers, Michael Murray and John Valitski; a sister, Theresa Woodruff; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Robert, Daniel and James Murray. Dennis' family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Haws Avenue United Methodist Church, 800 W. Marshall St., Norristown, PA 19401 from 10 to 11:00am, with his service immediately following at 11:00am. Arrangements are by The Bacchi Fuenral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.
