Derek P. Salvo

Derek P. Salvo passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his residence in Jeffersonville, PA. He was 56. Mr. Salvo worked as a self-employed carpenter doing home remodeling. He graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School, Class of 1976.Born in Norristown, PA on January 25, 1958, he was a son of Thomas V. Salvo, Jr. and Dolores (Henning) Salvo. Surviving is his loving family including his parents; his wife, Maria C. (Fryer) Salvo; two sons, Derek and Ryan, both of Norristown, PA; two grandchildren, D. J. and Gianni; five brothers: Thomas V. Salvo, III of Norristown, PA, Michael J. Salvo of Seattle, WA, Kenneth J. Salvo of Norristown, PA, Roger M. Salvo of Eagleville, PA and Mark W. Salvo and his wife, Alicia, of Limerick, PA; two sisters, Diane M. McCleary and her husband, Brian, of Lower Gwynedd, PA and Lorraine Pellegrin and her husband, Dino, of Collegeville, PA; many nephews and nieces; and many other loving family members. Derek's Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 8:00 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 6 to 7:50 pm, at the funeral home.
