Diane Marie Ficca

January 26, 1939 — November 30, 2025

Diane Marie (née Strike) Ficca peacefully went to be with our Lord on November 30th, 2025. Diane lived a full and wonderful life of 86 years with the love of family members and life-long friends.

Diane was born in Mt. Carmel, PA to the late Veronica (née Dugan) and Peter Strike, also of Mt. Carmel, PA. She was a long-time resident of Gulph Mills, PA.

After graduating from Mt. Carmel Catholic High School, Diane moved to Harrisburg, PA for work. Later, she moved to Philadelphia, PA where she ran office operations at Booth, Potter, Seal & Co. until leaving to raise a family in the Philadelphia suburbs. She also worked in customer service at Strawbridge & Clothier department store. She was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Diane and Frank were married in Mt. Carmel, PA on October 24, 1964.

Diane lived a life rooted in generosity, community, and connection. A devoted mother and friend, in addition to caring for her family, Diane gave freely of her time to help others. Her commitment to service extended throughout the community, including volunteer work with Mother of Divine Providence Church, Marian’s Attic/Laurel House, the American Cancer Society, and at the polling booth during elections.

Diane had a passion for bringing people together. She was a founding member of the Scattered Seeds garden club, where she served in leadership roles including president and treasurer. Through this group she helped foster learning, friendship, and community outreach, including fundraising efforts.

Diane enjoyed socializing, tennis, card games, dancing, and competitive puzzling. She was an excellent cook who delighted in sharing meals with family and friends.

Above all, Diane will be remembered for her kindness, her tireless efforts to help those less fortunate, and the joy she found in spending time with loved ones. Her legacy is one of compassion, service, and a life well lived.

Diane was most recently a parishioner of the Mother of Divine Providence church in King of Prussia, PA.

Diane is survived by her children: Pamela Ficca of Silver Spring, MD and son Frank (wife, Robin) Ficca of East Vincent, PA, a sister, Carol (husband, Rusty) Tinsley of Admore, PA, four nieces and nephews and five grand nieces and nephews.
