Dolly M. "Jenny" Bontempo

Dolly Mary “Jenny” (Hartman) Bontempo passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at her residence in W. Norriton, PA. She was 79. Jenny worked for the former King Manor Central Cleaners and also made wire harnesses for tractor trailers. She was a sweet lady who loved all animals but especially cats and dogs. Born in Swedeland, PA on March 3, 1938, she was a daughter of the late James and Viola (Davis) Hartman. Surviving is her loving family including her husband, Carlo Albert Bontempo; a son, Benny Bontempo and his fiance, Karen Smith, of Jacksonville, AR; a daughter, Carol Rodenbaugh of W. Norriton, PA; three grandchildren: Valerie (Angel) Ramirez of Denver, CO, Eric (Darya) Bontempo of Cabot, AR and Kevin Bontempo of Cabot, AR; one great-grandson, Lorenzo Ramirez; two sisters, Mary and Margaret; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Jimmy Hartman. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jenny’s memory to the Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd, Norristown, PA 19401.
