Dolores T. (Quackenbush) Cook

Dolores T. (Quackenbush) Cook passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Jeffersonville, PA. She was 85. Mrs. Cook, a homemaker, was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, PA and a former member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 27, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Ruben and Catherine (Donaldson) Quackenbush. She was the wife of the late Robert K. "Bob" Cook, who died in 2004. Dolores was the loving mother of five sons: Robert K. Cook (deceased) and his wife, Luz, of Bridgeport, PA; Kenneth J. Cook and his wife, Candis, of Wales, MA, Matthew S. Cook and his wife, Eileen, of Jeffersonville, PA, Thomas J. Cook and his wife, Patricia, of Sanatoga, PA and Donald J. Cook and his wife, Anita, of Cochranville, PA; eight grandchildren: Isabel, Sean, Kevin, Robert, Ryan, Kelsey, Evan and Peter; three step-grandchildren: Lauren (deceased), Lissy and Michele; a sister, Geraldine Shannon and her husband, Robert, of Wantagh, NY; and many nephews and nieces. She was also preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Holy Saviour Church, 409 E. Main St., Norristown, PA 19401 on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:00am. Her viewing will be Tuesday morning from 10 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dolores' memory to Montgomery Home Care & Hospice, 25 W.
