Dolores "Dolly" Pasquale

July 16, 1932 — August 4, 2023

Dolores “Dolly” (nee Mollica) Pasquale, of West Norriton, PA, matriarch of a large loving family, passed away surrounded by them on August 4th.

Born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown to John Mollica and Stella Mollica (Caracciolo), Dolly was raised in King Manor and graduated from Upper Merion High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and was an accomplished athlete in field hockey, basketball, and baseball.

She married Alexander Pasquale who lived in the neighborhood and married in 1952, raising 3 children, David, Denise, and Alexia. While raising the family, Dolly worked as a hostess at the Green Valley and Center Square Country Clubs and as an Executive Secretary at MCI. Always industrious and a trailblazer, she was a working mom many years before it became popular.

After over 50 years of marriage, Dolly’s beloved husband, Alex, passed away in 2003. They had been living at The Greens at Westover, a 55 and over condo community. While there, she and Alex befriended another couple, Jesse and Anita Cohen. Jesse had lost Anita around the same time that Alex passed. Within a couple of years, Dolly and Jesse became great friends and found love again. For 20 plus years, they dined together, traveled together, went on cruises, and spent summers at Dolly’s NJ shore house. In her final months, Dolly was still grieving Jesse who passed away on June 2nd at 102 years old. Jesse’s nephew Ellis, and nieces Linda and Ina have been a Blessing to us through these difficult times.

Dolly’s hobbies included going to the casino, crocheting, knitting, crafts and many other activities. She was very active at the Greens of Westover clubhouse and was a building representative. She also loved her trip to Italy with Lex and friends.

Dolly was pre-deceased by her husband, Alexander Pasquale, her brother, John Moley, her son, David Pasquale, and her daughter-in-law, Debbie. She is survived by a brother Albert Mollica (Kate); her daughters Denise Silcox (Bobby) and Alexia Levy (Irv); grandchildren Gian Bizzozero (Danielle Saviello) and Bianca Potoka (Brett); Alexis Parker (Jason), Lisa, and Rocco, as well as many great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dolly’s viewing on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 9:30-11 am at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405. Her prayer service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
