Dolores Rose (Gorman) Fenlon passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was 88. Dolores was a 60-year resident of King of Prussia, PA, and a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. For 40 years, she volunteered for the Women for Greater Philadelphia where she helped run the historical Laurel Hill Mansion as Chair and guide as well as managing the caretaking. At election times, she worked at the Belmont IV polling booth in King of Prussia for the last 35 years. Dolores had a strong love for the theater and for traveling. Scrapbooking was her latest passion. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 20, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Daniel T. and Anna M. (Mankus) Gorman. She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 65 years, Robert F. Fenlon, Sr.; her children: Robert F. Fenlon, Jr. of King of Prussia, Marianne P. Creamer and her husband, John of Warrington, PA, Bethanne P. Ladley and her husband, Edward of Tempe, AZ, and James D. Fenlon of Audubon, PA; 7 grandchildren: Ainsley, Lauren, Teddy, Erin, Matthew, Ava, and James; and many loving family members. She is preceded in death by her younger sister, Bernadette G. Watson, late of Athens, GA. Relatives and friends are invited to Dolores’s viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 9 to 9:45am, with her Funeral Mass following at 10:00am. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dolores’s memory to Mother of Divine Providence Church at the above address.
