Dolores B. Waterman

Dolores B. (Budnick) Waterman passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Chestnut Knoll in Boyertown, PA. She was 91. Mrs. Waterman was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA. In 1945 she received a BS Degree in Social Work from the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. She also received a Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University in the early 1960's. Dolores worked as a Social Worker for Catholic Social Services in Schenectady, NY prior to moving to Pennsylvania. She then worked at Norristown State Hospital for 20 years until her retirement. Dolores was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, where she was a member of the choir for over 40 years. Born in Herkimer, NY on December 14, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Daniel S. and Helen A. (Kashuba) Budnick. She was the wife of the late George W. Waterman, who died in November of 2014. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, George W. & Cecile Waterman, III of Gilbertsville, PA and Robert D. & Susanne Waterman of Trooper, PA; a daughter, Michelle A. & John Kerrigan of Wilkes Barre, PA; eight grandchildren: Nathan, Michael, Jaime and Robert Waterman, Alison (Drew) Weinstein and Adam (Tasha) Hoover, Daniel Krueger and Devon Brown; a sister, Barbara A. & Dr. Louis Richnak of Squaw Valley, CA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two sons, David M. and Mark A. Waterman; and a brother, Carl P. Budnick.Dolores' Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 am. Officiating is the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10 to 10:50 am, at the church.
