Domenico Diego Zaccardi

Domenico Diego Zaccardi passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, surrounded by his wife and children, at Suburban Community Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. He was 79. Mr. Zaccardi was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He was the owner of Zaccardi's Restaurant in Bridgeport, PA. Domenico was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, both in Bridgeport, PA. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins, making wine and gardening. Most of all, Domenico loved family gatherings.

Born in Lentella, Italy on April 4, 1943, he was a son of the late Michele and Carmela (Caruso) Zaccardi. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 51 years, Adriana (DiStefano) Zaccardi; two sons, Andrew Zaccardi and Simon (Jill Acosta) Zaccardi; a daughter, Medea (John) McGlynn; five grandchildren: Alana, JJ, Colin, Amelia and Bennett; a sister, Emma Reale; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gaetano Zaccardi; and a sister, Laeondina Reale.

Relatives & friends are invited to Domenico’s viewing at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10 to 10:50 am; his Funeral Mass will start at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Domenico’s memory to Overbrook School for the Blind, 6333 Malvern Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19151.
