Dominic Joseph Macchione

Dominic J. Macchione, 89, of Malvern, PA, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, peacefully in Lansdale, Montgomery County. Dominic was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 26, 1936, a son of the late Louise (Falco) and Americo Macchione.

He was the beloved husband of the late Marian (Kopf) Macchione. Dominic and Marian resided for many years in Malvern, PA. Dominic is survived by his brother, Joseph Macchione, husband of Ann.

Dominic served in the U.S. Army. He was a trained pattern maker for the Philadelphia Navy Yard until he became a business owner of N.B. Barber, a fire alarm company.

He lived a long and meaningful life during which time he was a Grand Master with the Masons, an avid Phillies fan and was fortunate enough to marry the absolute love of his life, Marian.

Dominic had a quiet strength and steadfast character. He leaves behind a memory cherished by all who knew him. His departure is mourned deeply by friends and community members who valued his companionship and the dignity with which he lived. Dominic’s life reminds us of the lasting impact of a gentle soul.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Tuesday, June 23rd at 1:00 PM at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Rd. Roslyn, PA. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery office by 12:50pm.
