Dominick P. Derosato

Dominick P. “Dom” DeRosato passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Plymouth Meeting, PA. He was 90. Mr. DeRosato was a self-employed bricklayer and stone mason for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Paul R.C. Church in E. Norriton, PA. He was a graduate of the former Bridgeport High School. Dominick was a US Army veteran of WW II, serving from 1944 to 1946 in the European Theatre of Operations. Born in Bridgeport, PA on January 6, 1926, he was a son of the late Dominick and Palma (Manzi) DeRosato. He was the husband of the late Carol H. (Romano) DeRosato, who died in 2003. Surviving is his loving family including two daughters, Carol P. Pogue and Donna M. DeRosato, both of Plymouth Meeting, PA; a grandson, Randall D. Pogue; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, William C. Snively; a brother, Nicholas DeRosato; and a sister, Rose Shemar. Relatives & friends are invited to Dom’s Funeral Mass at St. Paul R. C. Church, 2007 New Hope St., E. Norriton, PA on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Harry E. McCreedy, Pastor. His viewing is Friday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Dom’s memory to St. Paul R. C. Church, 2007 New Hope St., E. Norriton, PA 19401 and/or the Kitty Cottage, Adoption Center, 317 W. Johnson Hwy., Norristown, PA 19401.
