Donald C. Dilks passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at the Peter Becker Skilled Nursing Community in Harleysville, PA. He was 90. Mr. Dilks was a resident of Harleysville. He worked as an Engineering Assistant for the former Bell Telephone-Bell Atlantic Company for 43 years. Donald was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in W. Norriton, PA. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 4, 1931, he was a son of the late Leslie R. and Ida Josephine (Cadell) Dilks. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Carol M. (Briggs) Dilks; a son, Brian (Jennifer M.) Dilks; five daughters: Jennifer A. Dilks, Amy (Jeffrey) Duberville, Sally (Daniel) Borick, Donna Ruff and Elisa Limbaugh; seven grandchildren: Alexandra Boldt, Alyssa and Brayden Dilks, Connor and Ethan Duberville, and Elinor and Ryan Limbaugh; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Angeli and Lois (Jurg) Saladin. Relatives and friends are invited to Donald’s viewing at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2530 Stinson Lane, Norristown, PA 19403 on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 10 to 11:00 am; with his Funeral Service starting at 11:00 am. Masks are required. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia. Arrangements are by the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.
