Donald W. Dougan passed away peacefully on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, PA. He was 90. Mr. Dougan was a resident of Harleysville, PA and was formerly of East Norriton, PA. He worked as an engineer for the former Bell Telephone Company. Donald was a member of the Wentz United Church of Christ in Skippack, PA and the Bell Telephone Pioneers. Mr. Dougan was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII serving from 1942 to 1945, in the European Theater of operations.Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 16, 1922, he was a son of the late Leonard and Ethel (Shuh) Dougan. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 39 years, Mary G. (Gillespie) Dougan; a son, Michael Dougan of MN; two daughters, Ann Grow and her husband, Phillip, of Coatesville, PA and Jane Martin and her husband, Robert, of Quakertown, PA; a step-son, Michael McGrory and his wife, Eileen, of East Norriton, PA; 6 grandchildren: Brian, Mark, Stephanie, Steven, Christopher and Stephen; 4 step-grandchildren: Michael, Daniel, John and Robyn; many great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Amullan of Whitemarsh Twp., PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Dougan. Donald's Funeral Service will be at Wentz United Church of Christ, 3246 Skippack Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446 on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Antonio L. Villareal, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday morning from 10 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donald's memory to the above named church and/or Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 25, P.O.
