Donald S. Hawley

Donald S. Hawley age 87 of Audubon, Pa passed away on Friday, February 28,2025 at Paoli Hospital. Born on September 15, 1937, in Collingdale, Pa to the late Horace and Rose (nee Gunn) Hawley, Sr. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen Hawley Kiker, 5 siblings, Rosemary Snelling, Horace "Buddy" Hawley, Jr., Josephine Herrmann, Mary Shockley, and Ruth McCormick.

Donald served in the US Air Force and worked as a test equipment engineer for CPI, GE and Lockheed Martin Aero Space division.

He is survived by his wife of 50 plus years, Mary Ann (nee Adams); a daughter, Cheryl Hawley Hill (John); a grandson, Logan Hawley Hill; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Don totally enjoyed every minute of his time with his grandson and enjoyed planning fun weekend getaways for him. His passion was golfing with his league and the many road trips with them to different courses and states. Many times he would come home hoarse from all the laughter from the many antics which organically transpired within the group. He was an Eagles fan, enjoyed bowling and shooting pool. He planned and enjoyed trips to Europe, Canada and within the States.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 to 10:50 am Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Visitation BVM Lower Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Norristown, Pa 19403. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 am in the lower church. Interment

will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
