Donald J. "Flip" Difilippo

Donald J. “Flip” DiFilippo passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at his residence in Blue Bell, PA. He was 81. Don graduated from Bridgeport High School, class of 1961, and was a member of Saint Helena Church in Blue Bell, PA. He worked at General Electric as quality assurance for the nuclear power plants for 25 years. Flip enjoyed poker, casinos, playing Bocce, Fantasy Football, and golf. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. Flip liked to hunt and was a member of the Chesco Gun Club since he was young.

Born in Norristown, PA on January 25, 1944, he was a son of the late John B. and Sophie B. (Wojnarowicz) DiFilippo.

Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 60 years, Gloria M. (DiBonaventure) DiFilippo; a son, David DiFilippo and his wife, Valerie; a daughter, Deborah Angelillis and her husband, Michael; 2 grandchildren, Taylor Angelillis and Justin DiFilippo; two step-grandsons, Michael Angelillis and Matthew Angelillis; a brother, Joseph DiFilippo and his wife, Cheryl; a brother-in-law, John DiBonaventure; a sister-in-law, Joanne DiBonaventure; brother-in-law, Nicholas DiGerolamo; and many other loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Mary S. DiGerolamo.

Don’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Helena Church, 1489 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422 on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 9:30-10:50am, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11am. Words of remembrance will begin at 10:50am. Inurnment will be private.
