Donald W. Pashley, Sr.

Donald W. Pashley, Sr. passed away peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at his son's residence in Collegeville, PA. He was 82. Mr. Pashley was a resident of Collegeville. He worked as an oil burner repairman for the Diamond Oil Company in Chester, PA, until his retirement in 1991. Donald was a member of St. Eleanor's Church in Collegeville, PA. His favorite pastime was gardening. Mr. Pashley was a US Army veteran. He served in Germany as a sergeant during the Korean Conflict.Born in Wayne, Ohio on May 18, 1930, he was a son of the late Willis J. and M. Louise (Brocious) Pashley. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Ann (Bruno) Pashley, who died in March of 2011. Surviving is his loving family including 4 sons: Donald W. Pashley, Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Blue Bell, PA, Willis J. "Bill" Pashley of Norristown, PA, Paul R. Pashley and his wife, Janet, of Collegeville, PA and Drew J. Pashley and his wife, Sharon, of Arcola, PA; 3 daughters: Elizabeth L. Michaelowsky of Pittsburg, PA, Rebecca A. Wilhelm and her husband, Anthony, of Auburn, IN and Loreen M. Boyer and her husband, Bill, of White Haven, PA; 18 grandchildren: 15 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Charlotte Danko of Courtland, OH and Janice Fertig and her husband, Melvin, of Groveland, FL; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark F. Pashley; a brother, Neal Pashley; and 3 sisters: Eleanor Pashley, Jean Davis and Alice Rodriquez. Relatives & friends are invited to Donald's Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 10:00 am. His viewings will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm; also Friday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, both at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, E.
