Donald C. Peyton

Donald C. Peyton passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Wayne, PA. He was 77. Mr. Peyton worked as a manager for GE Aerospace in King of Prussia, PA, until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. Donald attended Corpus Christi Grade School and graduated from Northeast Catholic High School. Mr. Peyton was a US Army veteran, serving from 1954 to 1956 in Japan. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 8, 1934, he was a son of the late Andrew and Winifred (Lavin) Peyton. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Mildred R. (Cullen) Peyton; five sons: Thomas J. Peyton of Wayne, PA, James G. Peyton of Edgmont, PA, Donald P. Peyton of Wayne, PA, Andrew J. Peyton of Collegeville, PA and John M. Peyton of Wayne, PA; two daughters, Joan T. Greco of Stafford, VA and Jeanmarie C. Peyton of Wayne, PA; 21 grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Thomas, Andrew and John Peyton; and 3 sisters: Catherine Nolan, Margaret Donnelly and Teresa Devanney. Relatives & friends are invited to Donald's Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. His viewing will be Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:50am, at the church.
