Doris G. Lockley

Lockley Doris G. (née Gregory), 88 years old, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 6th, 2019. Her passing ended a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. A native of Poinsett County, Arkansas, Doris resided with her husband, US Navy veteran Millard P. Lockley and their children in Tennessee, Panama and South Carolina. The family moved to Philadelphia when Millard retired in 1955. Doris worked over 30 years at Provident National Bank in the trust remittance department until her retirement in 1996. Her work was well respected. The family was of the utmost importance to Doris. She was a caring and giving mother to four children, Gregory, Elaine, Kristan, and Ruth (McDonnell). Doris adored her seven grandchildren, Ronald, Glen, Michelle, Sara, Victoria, Kelly, and Aramae; and nine great-grandchildren, Derek, Darian, Michael, Lauren, Stephanie, Zakkary, Killian, Erica, and Samuel. She will be greatly missed. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 at 10 am. A memorial service will be held at 11 am. Walter J.
