Doris M. (Sabo) Mager

Doris M. (Sabo) Mager passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, surrounded by her loving family and friends at Brittany Pointe Estates in Lansdale, PA. She was 81. Mrs. Mager was a resident of Lansdale, PA and was formerly of Swedeland, PA. She was a graduate of Upper Merion High School, Class of 1950, and Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1953. She worked as a nurse for the former Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA and PMA in Blue Bell, PA. Doris was a member of Corpus Christi Church in Lansdale, PA and a former member of Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on July 3, 1932, she was a daughter of the late John G. and Sophie (Donoski) Sabo. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 60 years, Joseph J. Mager; a son, Joseph J. Mager, Jr. and his wife, Laura, of Valley Forge, PA; a daughter, Pamela A. Fulton-Mager and her husband, David Cavagnaro, of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ; three grandchildren: Elizabeth Mager, David Mager and David Dylan Fulton and his companion, Breanna Eads; a great-grandson, Nash Fulton; a sister-in-law, Beverly (Cook) Sabo of Jeffersonville, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, John "Jack" Sabo. Relatives & friends are invited to Doris' Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pk., Lansdale, PA 19446 on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 11:00 am. Her viewing will be Monday from 10 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doris' memory to The Piarist Fathers' Appalachian Mission, P.O.
