Doris E. Williams

Doris Elaine Williams, nee Pickell, age 84, widow of the late, Richard G. Williams, Sr., passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 peacefully with her family by her side at her home in Sanatoga Court, Sanatoga, PA. Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of Harvey L. and Leonora (Stevenson) Pickell. A long-time resident of Jeffersonville, PA, Doris was a former lieutenant at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. She was also a Past Matron and District Deputy of the Order of the Eastern Star, Radiant Chapter No. 96 and the former Norris Penn Chapter No. 181. She is survived by her daughter, Judy W. Schilling (Walter) of Pahoa, Hawaii and son, Richard G. Williams, Jr. (Renee) of Gilbertsville, PA; grandchildren Tracy L. Martin (Robert), Randi L. Williams (Kyle), Ryan J. Williams (Melissa), Alyssa R. Williams, and Zachary R. Williams; great grandchildren, Shaun C. Wilkinson (Deborah), T. David S. Wilkinson, Julianna R. Williams; one sister, Leonora Simmons of Rogers, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by seven brothers and 3 sisters. Family and friends can call at 10:00 a.m. for visitation on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Avenue, Trooper, PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
