Dorothy Borek (1947–2024)

Dorothy Borek, a beloved resident of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia-Jeans campus. She was 76 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 7, 1947, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Carroll Radtke. She dedicated many years of her life as an Instructional Assistant, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of students and colleagues alike.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Borek.

Dorothy’s family was her pride and joy. She cherished her son Gary and daughter-in-law Jolanda, and her heart swelled with love for her grandkids, Andrew, and Matthew. Her dogs were faithful companions, and she found joy in their company.

Known for her kindness and willingness to help others, Dorothy was a beacon of compassion in her community. She enjoyed various activities, from shopping to traveling, and her zest for life was contagious. As a Red Hat Lady, she shared laughter and camaraderie with her best friend Loretta. Additionally, she cherished the time spent with her other close friends, Nancy and Linda.

Dorothy Borek’s legacy will live on through the memories she created and the lives she touched. May she rest in peace.

Family and friends are invited to say their last goodbye to Dorothy on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 10:00- 11:00 am followed by her funeral mass starting at 11:00 am both held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA.

Dorothy’s interment will be held privately.
