Dorothy A. Callahan

Dorothy A. Callahan (Beaver), 87, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Thursday, May 25th, while in the company of family.

Dorothy was born in Danville, PA on June 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Emily Anna (Beaver) and James M. Beaver.

Dorothy was a active member of Wissinoming Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA. She was an excellent cook and baker which she shared with family, friends, church members and neighbors. Dorthy worked as a Personal Caregiver for 25 years.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late David Joseph Callahan Jr. Beloved sister to Pauline Morgan (Earl).Loving mother to Charles Seladones (Sue), the late Michael Seladones, and David J. Callahan (Dawn) . Devoted grandmother to Jonathon Seladones ( Kate), the late Jeffery Seladones, Stephanie Grace ( Kevin), the late Samantha Seladones, Joshua Callahan, Kalyn Callahan. The great Grandmother to Cora, Maeve and Rowan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Friday, June 2, 2023 from 10 to 11 AM and to her memorial service at 11AM both at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home, 507 West Ave.in Jenkintown, PA . Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the West Wissinoming Presbyterian Church, 5817 Torresdale Ave. Phila., PA 19135.
