Dorothy G. (nee Long) Hoffman passed away peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2022, at her residence at The Landing of Collegeville, PA. She was 95. Dot was a faithful member of the Baptist Church in the Great Valley. After working as a secretary for Norwood Industries for 15 years, Dot volunteered for many organizations, including American Red Cross Blood Services, Phoenixville Hospital Supporting Services, and the Valley Forge Park Shoppe. She was an active member of P.E.O, a philanthropic sisterhood. Born in Colmar, PA on May 12, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Russell and Dorothy (nee Clark) Long. Dorothy was the wife of her first husband, the late James E. Huff, who passed away in 1985 and then her second husband, the late William Hoffman, who passed away in 2004. Surviving is her loving family including a son, James Huff; three daughters: Judy Ishler, Dorothy Oswald, and Mary Huff; 5 grandchildren: James Huff, Bryan Dunn, Melanie Siegel, Michael Ishler, and Mark Ishler; 5 great-grandchildren: Layla Huff, Daymian Dunn, Mirabel Siegel, Mason Dunn, and Zora Huff; as well as many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a son, Russell Huff; and sisters, Helen McGowan, Mary Grassel, and Nancy Wright. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
