Dorothy R. (Opelski) Leddy

Dorothy R. (Opelski) Leddy passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Parkhouse Providence Pointe in Royersford, PA. She was 95. Mrs. Leddy was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA.Born in Conshohocken, PA on March 17, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Ratajczak) Opelski. She was the wife of the late Francis A. Leddy, who died in 1997. Surviving is her loving family including four daughters: Dorothy M. Hartman and her husband, William, of Orange Park, FL, Carol A. Holland of Norristown, PA, Eileen F. Flemming and her husband, William, of Ft. Myers, FL and Christine A. Walter and her husband, Doug, of Lititz, PA; nine grandchildren: William, Patrick, Francyne, Jason, Lori, John, Shaun, Matthew and Kyle; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces and Daughter-in-law Aiko Leddy. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard F. Leddy; two brothers, George and Raymond Opelski; and a sister, Helen Tadeo. Relatives & friends are invited to Dorothy's Funeral Mass at St. Augustine R.C. Church, 464 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. James A. Lyons. Her viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church.
