Dorothy P. (Piselli) Leo

Dorothy Philomena (Piselli) Leo, a homemaker, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at Parkhouse Providence Pointe in Royersford, PA. She was 95. Mrs. Leo resided with her daughter, Roslyn, for many years in Collegeville, PA and was formerly of King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church and their Seniors Group in King of Prussia, PA. Dorothy was also a member of the Upper Merion Senior Center and the Valley Forge Presbyterian Church Seniors Group, both in King of Prussia.Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 19, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Olympia (Magliano) Piselli. Dorothy was the wife of the late Gerald L. Leo, who died in 2004. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Roslyn N. Cirino, of Jeffersonville, PA; two sons, Gerald A. "Bud" Leo and his wife, Mary Alice, of Collegeville, PA and Albert J. Leo and his wife, Barbara, of Gongales, LA; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Francis Piselli and his wife, Rita, of Glenolden, PA and Albert Piselli of Glenolden, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Leo; two daughters, Dolores Leo and Elizabeth Leo; and a brother, Anthony Piselli.Dorothy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, pastor. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday morning from 9 to 10:45am, at the church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
