Dorothy E. Scott, a beloved wife, and dedicated registered nurse, passed away on May 10th, 2024, at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was 91 years old.

Born on July 22, 1932, in North Carolina, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Zula (Fogleman) and Edgar Jarrett. Her commitment to caring for others led her to a fulfilling career as a registered nurse, where she touched the lives of countless patients.

Dorothy’s love story with her late husband, Everett Scott, was one of enduring companionship. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories and supported each other through thick and thin. Everett’s passing preceded hers, leaving a void that only love and cherished memories could fill.

She is survived by her family, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Dorothy’s legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, Dorothy’s service will remain private. Instead of flowers, she requested that donations be made to the St. Jude’s Foundation—a cause close to her heart.
