Dorothy G. (Giger) Spencer passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse in Philadelphia, PA. She was 88. Mrs. Spencer, a homemaker, was a resident of Philadelphia, PA. She was born in Philadelphia on May 6, 1920. Dorothy was the wife of the late William Boyd Spencer, Jr. Surviving are her loving family including a son, Boyd Spencer; a daughter, Jane Spence; and 2 grandchildren, Stephen Boyd Spencer and Maria Spencer Patti.Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.Arrangements are by The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA. www.bacchicourtney.com
