Dorothy A Streeper

Dorothy A. Streeper (née Yonaitis) passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Jeanes Hospital, surrounded by family and love. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Anthony and Helen Yonaitis. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James J. Streeper, Sr.

Dorothy is survived by 3 sons, James J. Jr. (Alice), Michael A. (Cecilia) and Brian C. (Jessica); 6 grandchildren, Allison Schrader (John), James J. III, Henry J., Stephen J., Petra D.R., and Matthew J.; 2 siblings, James Yonaitis, and Joan Preso; a nephew, Thomas Preso and niece, Helene Frey (née Preso), and many other nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was an avid reader who also loved solving crossword and sudoku puzzles, rooting for the Phillies and Eagles, but mostly, spoiling her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 8:50 to 9:50 am followed by a funeral service at 10 am both held at St. Hilary of Poitiers, 920 Susquehanna Rd., Rydal, Pa 19046. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
